Healings and testimonies of God's supernatural provision and deliverance have become a regular part of the life of Dayspring. Here are a few examples from recent history. August 09 - Marlene Klepees reported that on August 16 in a healing service she was conducting a woman was healed of Multiple Sclerosis. She came into the service in a wheelchair, and left walking. The next morning the woman reported that she was so excited that she couldn't sleep, and stayed up doing things she had been unable to do for so long. Thank you, Jesus! Just this month at Dayspring we've seen several "dental healings"; Christa Stqcy, who had already received a gold tooth from the Lord, prayed for Sandra Killingsworth, who had a severe tooth ache. She continued to check it until she discovered it healed. The problem tooth was whiter than the teeth around it! McKenzie Lewis received prayer for a tooth that had been hurting for two weeks, and it was completely healed. June 09 - Cindy Herron had seen her doctor about many health problems, and her doctor had determined she was 100% disabled. She had a shoulder injury from 2006 that caused her intense and constant pain. She had not experienced a normal bowel movement in four years. Her hip and back were in constant pain, and she had a tumor on one foot. On top of all that, she had fibromyallgia and regular ear infections. She came to our food pantry in April, 2009 and was prayed for by our food pantry staff. The pain in her shoulder left immediately. The tumor on her foot disappeared, her digestion went back to normal, and within a week the pain in her hip and back was gone as well. In Cindy's words: "After we prayed, someone asked, 'Do you feel any different?' I touched my shoulder, and then I pressed harder! The pain was gone! God heard and answered our prayer. I was healed and tears flowed. I thought that He would gradually heal me. I did not expect this. I could hardly wait to get home and tell my husband. Since that day my life has completely changed! No more narcotics!... He touched not only my shoulder, but has provided healing and pain relief in my body from head to toe... so much to praise God for! What an awesome Lord!" June 09 - Keith Johnson attends Dayspring, and works at a local car wash. A man named Ed came through for a car wash, and told Keith that he only had days to live - he was dying of cancer. Keith told him he would pray (without taking time out from his duties at the car wash), and later shared the story with a group from Dayspring, who joined him in praying for the man. Ed returned to the car wash a few weeks later and reported with joy that the doctors checked him out and could no longer find any trace of the cancer! He returned again a few months later with the same report - no more cancer! A man with a broken arm came by the Dayspring facilities during the week, where one of the Dayspring Christian School teachers saw him and asked if she could pray for him. When she prayed, he felt a tingling in his arm, and went to have his doctor check it out. Though it had only been broken for a week, the amazed doctor cut the cast off, saying the arm was totally healed. A woman with scholiosis (curviture of the spine) received prayer on a visit by a group from Dayspring. Asked to try it out after the prayer, she said that she had not been able to touch her toes, and proceeded to bend over and put both palms flat on the carpet - her spine had straightened out instantly. A teenage girl with poor eyesight heard the Lord speaking to her in a service that He would heal her eyes if she would go down front during the praise service. She did, and her eyesight was completely restored so that she no longer wears glasses. Marlene Klepees, a leader at Dayspring, was ministering at a church in New York where over four hundred people received Christ and many others were healed. Even before the service, during the altar ministry training, one woman was healed of multiple sclerosis. We've seen people healed of cancer, tumors, injuries, depression, stomach problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, neck and back injuries, leg, knee and elbow issues, , and many others. April 2009 - A young man had fallen from a ladder and broken his left wrist and right big toe. When two guys from Dayspring prayed for him at his home, his wrist was healed, and the big toe was fine the next day. God is amazing! January 2010 - Michael, a member of Dayspring,prayed for a lady at his workplace who suffered with trigger finger, a painful condition where the finger curls up and cannot be extended. It got better immediately, and the next day was completely healed. January 2010 - Christa, another member of Dayspring, prayed for a woman with invetriosis. The woman told me three weeks later that she still had no pain since receiving the prayer. On a Dayspring outreach to a shut-in, a man named Joe gave his life to the Lord Jesus. After praying to receive Christ, the team of two men prayed for his swollen leg, a leg the doctors thought may need to be amputated. the leg was so swollen that the skin was very tight, making it look like a shiny marble pillar. After prayer, Joe said it felt much better, andwhen he showed the leg to the two men, the difference was pronounced. The swelling had gone down noticably, if not entirely, and had completely lost its shiny appearance. Three days later on a return visit, the swelling was still gone. January 2010 - A woman received prayer at a Wednesday night service for carpel tunnel syndrome, which was causing pain from her wrist all the way up into her shoulder. After a few people prayed for her, she felt warmth creeping up her arm, and within a few minutes the pain was completely gone! Febuary 2010 - A woman received prayer on a Sunday morning service for a pain in her leg. Several youth gathered around and prayed for her. When Tamara, a teenager, laid a hand on the area of pain, the woman felt heat on that spot, and the pain disappeared. |
